So, I am off to San Francisco in 2 weeks. Apparently, I will spend a majority of my summer between here in DC and there. Should be interesting - I will still be able to blog my friends and although its not my favorite city, its a much needed break from this place.
I lived in San Fran a mere 8 years ago, hated every minute of it - lived there for 5 months. Tnis time, though I plan to enjoy it and get out there and do things I didn't do before because I holed myself up in my apartment when I wasn't working.
So, if you have been there or lived there - what do you recommend I do while I am there - besides wine country and Alcatraz..........

Oh, I love San Francisco so very much! The people, the food, the interesting shops and people watching.
Pakistani food at Shalimar in the Tenderloin rocks my world. It's BYOB, so pick up a 6 pack and bring a friend.
