Went to a law enforcement function Friday night off Conn Ave NW and met the coolest guy............he is in law enforcement as well, has a motorcycle, is extremely freaking hot, talked to me like for 4 hours, he is 44 yrs old, 10 years older than me, but who cares --- I loved his sense humor - we cracked up laughing the entire night. His friends were very cool, invited us out to another bar down the road.....it started pouring rain, so my friend and I had to cab it. He paid for our cab ride, because all we had on us were smartcards. Saturday around 1230p we text messaged for a few hours back and forth - we will be seeing each other in the new future - the texts got pretty interesting. It was just a nice pleasant change to have really good conversation with a guy and there was lots of laughter. I have a crush :-) We will see what happens, my guard is up as usual. But I took my bloggers advice (thank you) and my friends advice and basically smiled a lot and was very friendly Friday night, and yep, it does draw in people. We will refer to him as biker boy from hear on out though........
So after drinking so much on Friday - riding the metro back to Pentagon City was amusing.......I got all excited about the new red lights on the platform at Metro Center, I busted out in song "Roxanne, you don't have to turn off the red light" by the Police - and I commented on how eye pleasing they were. However, I realized what an old fart I had become too, lots of college kids on the train at midnight -- geesh and they were goofy. Friend and I looked at each other and was like "Did we act like this?" Just kind of funny and I feel really old lol........
Hope everyone had a great weekend -- I ended up pissing off another female friend because I didn't invite her out Friday night - honestly - whatever! I hate drama.
