Funniest thing on the VRE I have ever seen to date: this lady sat across from me yesterday on the way home, in her mid 50's sucking on a tootsie roll pop and man was she going to town on it - seriously it was like a porn movie, she was sucking so loudly on it, I felt embarrassed for her. I couldn't stop laughing or stareing at her. In the course of 20 minutes, she was on tootsie pop number 2 and the sucking sounds got louder. Seriously lady - WTF?
Ok, so I am a moderate Republican (don't shoot me) - anyway I have friends that are far right and as far left as they come. I love them all and tend not to try and debate politics with them. A friend of mine posted the most disturbing myspace blog about her hatred of Republicans and how evil we are. Seriously, it was the most disturbing piece I have ever read. It said we were all bible thumping, NRA membership toting, just plain evil pro-life people. Well for the record I am:
* Pro-Choice
* I do have an NRA membership - because I like their range and I like to shoot.
* Haven't been to church so far this decade.
Not a big fan of ignorance, she obviously didn't keep in mind that maybe her other friends could be Republican - I don't know - but it really weirded me out the amount of hate that was expressed in her blog. Ok off rant about this.............
Next - if you are wearing heels and don't know how to walk in them - please don't wear them.
Situation with Biker Boy - well still complicated and I would love to vent about it, but its kind of personal and its something I can share with my blogger world.

Hope things get uncomplicated. Mmm... heels. People are often surprised that I identify more with the Republican party than the Democrats, but I too am a moderate.
you can add me to those in the far left category, but i have plenty of republican friends and one of my closest friends actually works for john mccain and i don't hold that against her. :) and as much as i disagree with most things republicans stand for, i don't think i would ever seriously write a post about how much they suck. maybe a facetious post, but not a serious one. that was very insensitive of your friend. did you tell her how you feel about what she wrote?
